Working alongside the new owners of the pub we have created their new food and drinks menus as well as promotional leaflets for special events.

The Mill House enjoys a prime roadside position on the Mill House roundabout linking the A1 to the A1231, Gateshead to Washington and sits between Birtley and the Blackfell area of Washington.

The pub is approximately 4 miles south of Gateshead and a short drive from the famous Angel of the North.

Sitting on this main arterial road provides a very high volume of passing trade, which combined with two golf courses and large residential and retail areas all in close vicinity, the pub has a bountiful customer base to draw from.

A fantastic full refurbishment of the Mill House has just been completed. Internally, the pub now has a well-designed contemporary feel with exposed stonework, reclaimed wood and a fireplace to add character and create a welcoming and comfortable ambience.

The pub is a one bar operation with mixed seating surrounding it and all areas can be used for dining.

There is an orangery to the rear of the pub for a sheltered by outside feeling seating option.

This large operation has the ability to host up to 100 guests at any one time, served by a well-equipped catering kitchen.

Externally, the pub sits on a beautifully landscaped spacious plot and has an appealing country pub look.

There is a lovely beer garden to the front for alfresco dining and make the most of the summer months and fantastic views.

There is also a large onsite car park.
