Community Banner Campaign

Brief

We were approached by Stanley Area Action Partnership and local councillor Joyce Charlton to get involved in a project to boost the town centre of Stanley in County Durham.

The High Street was in decline in terms of shoppers and they wanted to bring some positivity and show off some of the attractions in the area. The idea was to create a series of banners which would display on lampposts up and down the street. Our team set about the design and printing the banners which included images and information about the likes of Tanfield Railway which is the oldest steam railway in the world.

This was a lengthy project as due to the construction period as well as the lampposts having to undergo strength tests to ensure the banners would be safe to be installed as well as Covid-19 interrupting the initial install.
