Folded Leaflet Options

Are you looking at folded leaflet options? There are a lot of ways that folded leaflets can be folded. It doesn’t matter what business you’re in, there’s a folding option for you. Whether it’s a restaurant, a financial institution, or a real estate agent, there’s a folding option that will fit your marketing strategy.

The possibilities are almost endless when it comes to the different folding options that are available. So let’s go through some of them, and you can decide which option best fits your brand.

Bifold

Bifold is a very common folding option. This option divided into two vertical panels and then it’s folded in half. Bifold is commonly used with brochures, menus, invitations, and appointment cards. This is a very common folding option for a reason.

Trifold

Trifold is the most commonly used folding option for menus, and brochures. It is also known as a letter fold because it fits nicely into an envelope. They are mostly used in marketing campaigns to showcase a business.

They’re great for highlighting a brand’s products and services effectively. They’re convenient as well. They don’t take up much counter space, and they’re easy to hand out. A few reasons why the trifold is one of the most popular folding options.

Gatefold

Here you would fold the leaflet into two parallel folds. Both the left and right-hand pages are folded so that they meet in the middle. You’ll often see graphics or text cross over the front two panels.

Gatefolds are often used for promotional items like brochures. This way the designer can tease the customers with the graphics and text into opening it. These leaflets can be any size but they will end up being half the size of the original sheet.

Z-Fold Brochure Folded Leaflet Options

Also known as an accordion fold, the Z-fold brochure is a great alternative to the tri-fold. When the brochure is open it has a z shape and fans out like an accordion. It creates separate panels, but the difference between the Z-fold and the trifold is that the Z-fold gives you six pages instead of three.

These are ideal for businesses that plan to add these brochures into envelopes.

There are many different folding options. While we didn’t go over all of them, these are some of the most popular options. Depending on what your marketing strategy is, will ultimately determine the folding option that you use.
