This month we filmed the Burnhope Primary School Christmas Documentary to celebrate their festive activities that were taking place in their school.
The small school is in the village of Burnhope in County Durham with less than 100 students from nursery age up to year six.
Burnhope Primary School Christmas Documentary
The school wanted to showcase their work via video. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic meant that parents couldn’t normally attend their events so video was an ideal medium to show their children’s work.
During one afternoon in December, we filmed some of the wonderful Christmas of activities in their classrooms.
As well as filming the students working we also interviewed all their teachers. The teachers spoke about the different activities the children we taking part in and how they had enjoyed them.
It was also a nice moment for headteacher Lyn Adamson to say goodbye to parents before she left for another school.
The Burnhope Primary School Christmas Documentary was uploaded to the school’s social media channels. The videos were also published on local Facebook groups for the wider community to watch it.
Mini Documentaries
The Mini Documentaries that PMI Creative produces have been very popular with schools and parents since we launched them. They give great insight into the school activities that the students are working on.
They are also a great record and promotional tool for schools to use in their enrolment campaigns.
